TRAGICA MUERTE DE FELIPE CAMIROAGA Y 20 CHILENOS MAS ¿PORQUE OCURREN LAS MUERTES EN MASA?

Siempre que leo o escucho algo sobre “muertes” colectivas me acuerdo de mi primer contacto real con ese tipo de suceso. Creo que tenía diez años cuando quedé impactada ante fotos de la erupción de un volcán. Veía a muchas personas presas en un tipo de barro gris, sin saber qué miembros pertenecía a cada cuerpo. Pese a mi gusto por la lectura, no pude leer el reportaje y durante mucho tiempo las imágenes quedaron grabadas en mi cabeza.



Por no tener acceso a determinados programas televisivos que el cuidado materno y paterno prohibían, tampoco pude obtener detalles sobre el acontecimiento. Pero en la edad adulta conocí la Doctrina Espirita y lo investigué a él y a otros acontecimientos similares, para comprenderlos mejor bajo un abordaje espiritual.



Se trataba del volcán Nevado del Ruiz, de los Andes colombianos, que entró en erupción el 13 de noviembre de 1985 y mató a más de 25 mil personas.



En la Navidad de 2004, un tsunami “afectó a zonas de Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India y Tailandia, dejando 229.866 muertes”. (Periodismo Humano)



El 30 de diciembre de 2004, se presentaba en República Cromañón (Argentina) el grupo Callejeros, cuando un incendio comenzó casi a las 11 horas de la noche y dejó a 194 muertos.



El 12 de enero de 2010, fue registrado un terremoto en Haití que mató a más o menos 200 mil personas.



El 27 de febrero de 2010, Chile también sufrió un terremoto que mató a 521 personas.



El 17 de julio de 2007, un avión que viajaba entre Porto Alegre y São Paulo, en Brasil, se estrelló contra una estación gasolinera, mató a las 187 personas que estaban a bordo y a 12 más que estaban en el suelo.



Sólo este año (2010) se registraron cinco accidentes aéreos con gran cantidad de víctimas fatales, cuyo número supera a los 1.370.



Eso sin citar el gran número de asesinatos en masa que se dan en varios países, por ambición, por diferencias ideológicas, por intolerancia o por cualquier otra razón que no alcanza para justificar que un Ser humano extinga la vida de otro.



El hecho es que ante situaciones como ésas, es común que las personas se pregunten cuáles serán sus razones. ¿Por qué algo tan terrible ocurre y mata en gran cantidad, sin elegir edad, sexo, raza o religión? Muchos creen que es mala suerte; para otros es un castigo; algunos piensan que es obra del acaso. Pero y ¿la Doctrina Espirita?, ¿Cuál es su explicación sobre el tema?

Las Leyes
El Espiritismo explica con mucha coherencia que cada uno recibe según sus obras porque todos estamos sometidos a la Ley de Acción y Reacción o de Causa y Efecto, y a la Ley de Evolución o del Progreso.



Según la primera, los seres humanos con nuestros pensamientos, sentimientos y acciones creamos causas que tendrán un efecto posterior. Dependiendo de la naturaleza positiva o negativa de las causas, así serán los efectos posteriores. Es una Ley que no castiga, sino que reajusta los actos cometidos bajo la dirección de nuestro libre albedrío. Actúa devolviendo el caminante extraviado y perdido al camino correcto del bien y del progreso, a través de las sucesivas encarnaciones.



La Ley de Evolución o del Progreso rige la transformación continua de todo lo que posee vida, desde estados rudimentarios e inferiores hacia formas más perfectas y complejas. A través de esta Ley, el ser humano ha pasado a ser el hombre civilizado de hoy día, abandonando sus etapas salvajes y primitivas. Gracias a la Ley de Evolución y a las pruebas sucesivas a que ésta nos somete en nuestras múltiples existencias, los seres humanos vamos corrigiendo nuestras imperfecciones, transformando nuestros defectos y debilidades en virtudes o cualidades que nos empujan hacia la conquista de la vida espiritual. El empleo de nuestro libre albedrío hará que esta Ley nos haga caminar por el sendero del bien, del amor y de la felicidad, o por el contrario, por el camino del dolor.

For us to GROW in Spirit it is we who must change and not the people, places or things around us.
The only given we have in our lives is OURSELVES
and that is the only factor we have control over.
When we change who and what we are within our heart
our life changes too.

THE LAW OF RESPONSIBILITY
Whenever there is something wrong,
there is something wrong in me.
We mirror what surrounds us
and what surrounds us mirrors us
We must take responsibility what is in our life.

THE LAW OF CONNECTION
Even if something we do seems inconsequential,
it is very important that it gets done
as everything in the Universe is connected.
Each step leads to the next step and so forth and so on.
Someone must do the initial work to get a job done.
Neither the first step nor the last
are of greater significance
They were both needed to accomplish the task.
Past, Present, Future
They are all connected...

THE LAW OF FOCUS
You can't think of two things at the same time.
When our focus is on Spiritual Values it is impossible for us to have lower thoughts such as greed or anger.

THE LAW OF GIVING AND HOSPITALITY
If you believe something to be true,
then sometime in your life
you will be called upon to demonstrate that truth.
Here is where we put what we SAY
that we have learned
into PRACTICE.

THE LAW OF HERE AND NOW
Looking back to examine what was,
prevents us from being totally in the HERE AND NOW.
Old thoughts, old patterns of behavior, old dreams...
Prevent us from having new ones.
